Eligibility Details

1. Educational Qualification

  • Full-time Bachelor’s Degree (B.TECH) in the relevant engineering discipline.
  • Degree must be AICTE-approved or recognized as equivalent (e.g., AMIE Section A & B).
  • Higher qualifications in the same discipline are also acceptable.

2. Minimum Marks Required

  • General / EWS / UR-post applicants: Minimum 60% marks or First Class.
  • SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PwD (reserved posts): Minimum 50% marks.

3. Work Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant discipline.
  • The following will NOT be counted as experience:
    • Training (except on-the-job training)
    • Internships
    • Teaching/academic experience
    • Fellowships
    • PhD research work

Selection Procedure

1. Written Test (60% Weightage)

  • Total questions: 125 (Objective type)
  • Duration: 2.5 hours
  • No negative marking
  • Syllabus distribution:
    • Quantitative Aptitude – ~35 questions
    • Data Interpretation – ~35 questions
    • Logical Reasoning – ~35 questions
    • General Awareness – ~20 questions

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • UR/EWS: 50%
  • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD (reserved posts): 45%

2. Interview (40% Weightage)

  • Candidates shortlisted in 1:6 ratio for each vacancy.
  • Weightage breakup:
    • Technical & Professional Knowledge – 30%
    • Personality, Communication & Competency – 10%

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • UR/EWS: 60%
  • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD (reserved posts): 50%

3. Final Merit

  • Based on the combined score of Written Test + Interview.
  • No minimum aggregate required for final selection.
  • Merit list prepared discipline-wise and category-wise.
