Eligibility Details

Educational Qualification

Discipline	Minimum Qualification
Generalist	Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
Hindi Officer	Master’s Degree in Hindi/English or related combination with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and required language proficiency

Selection Procedure

Phase-I: Preliminary Exam (Online Objective Test)

• Duration: 1 hour
• Total Questions: 100
• Sectional timing: 20 minutes per section
• Sections:
  • English Language – 30 marks
  • Reasoning Ability – 35 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude – 35 marks

Shortlisting: ~20× the number of vacancies (per category/stream).
Negative Marking: –0.25 per wrong answer.

Phase-II: Main Examination (Objective + Descriptive)

• Based on Main Examination (Objective Test) and Interview scores.
• Weightage:
  • 80% – Main Exam (Objective)
  • 20% – Interview
• In case of tie:
  1. Higher interview marks
  2. If still tied, older candidate gets preference
