- Tier-II deducts 1 mark in Sections I, II and III of Paper-I. Papers II and III deduct 0.50 marks.

- Final merit mainly uses the scored Tier-II sections after the qualifying modules are cleared.

What are the SSC CGL 2026 Tier-I exam dates?
The first-stage computer test is scheduled between 30/09/2026 and 30/10/2026. This is the overall examination period. Individual dates, shifts and centre information will be shown separately in each candidate’s official admission details.
How many vacancies were notified through SSC CGL 2026?
Around 12,256 tentative openings were announced for Group B and Group C positions. The Commission may update the number after departments complete their vacancy reporting. A detailed post-wise and category-wise breakup will be issued separately.
Which age limit applies to SSC CGL 2026 vacancies?
