A total of 532 vacancies are available across Junior Translator, Senior Translator and CRPF Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) posts. Candidates who appeared in Paper-II must submit their choices from 08/09/2026 (11:00 PM) to 11/09/2026 (11:00 PM). Missing this step will remove the candidate from FRTA and final selection consideration.

SSC Combined Hindi Translators 2025: Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
Selection Stages
- Paper-I: Computer Based Examination.
- Paper-II: Descriptive Translation and Essay paper.
- CRPF SI stage: PST followed by DV, DME and RME.
- Option-cum-Preference: Paper-II candidates submit post and department choices.
- Allocation: Final allotment follows merit-cum-preference and eligibility rules.

- The form is available only to candidates who appeared in Paper-II.

- Failure to submit the form removes the candidate from FRTA and final-selection consideration.
- PwBD candidates should choose only posts marked suitable for their disability.

What is the last date for the SSC CHT 2025 Option Form?
The preference facility closes on 11/09/2026 at 11:00 PM. Paper-II candidates must save and submit their post and department choices before the closing time. SSC will not provide another chance after the deadline.
Who can submit the SSC CHT 2025 Option-cum-Preference Form?
Only candidates who appeared in Paper-II can use the current facility. They must sign in to the SSC portal and open My Application. The preference option is available there for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination.
How many final vacancies are available in SSC CHT 2025?
The revised final vacancy count is 532. It includes 228 UR, 82 SC, 38 ST, 137 OBC and 47 EWS posts. These vacancies are spread across junior translator, senior translator and CRPF Hindi Translator positions.
Can candidates revise SSC CHT 2025 preferences?
Preferences can be edited while the online facility remains active. The latest form submitted within the allowed time will be treated as final. Candidates should check the order carefully and use the Submit button after completing the form.
What if the SSC CHT 2025 Option Form is missed?
Candidates who fail to submit preferences will not be considered for the First Round of Tentative Allocation or final selection. SSC has clearly stated that requests sent later by email, post, fax or any other method will not be accepted.
