Selection Procedure
1. Computer Based Examination (CBE)
- Objective type, 80 questions, 160 marks, 60 minutes
- Negative marking: –0.25 per wrong answer
- Sections (20 questions each):
- General Intelligence & Reasoning
- General Knowledge & General Awareness
- Elementary Mathematics
- English/Hindi
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- UR: 30%
- OBC/EWS: 25%
- Others: 20%
2. Medical Examination & Document Verification (DME/DV)
- Conducted for approx. 2× vacancies
- Verification of all documents including EQ and domicile.
3. Final Selection
- Based on normalized CBE marks (including NCC bonus marks)
- Allocation to forces according to merit + candidate’s preference order
- Must qualify PST, PET, medical exam, and document verification
- SSF posts: All-India merit; others: State/UT-wise
